a wide range of engineering surveys on various water bodies, hydraulic structures and offshore.
We perform the following engineering-geodetic, engineering-hydrological, engineering-hydrographic and engineering-geophysical surveys:
Survey of subsea pipelines and cables, and onshore route sections
Support and technical supervision over the quality of underwater technical works.
Underwater technical survey of hydraulic structures and artificial reservoirs.
Engineering and hydrological surveys
Engineering-hydrographic surveys
Survey of underwater pipelines and cables, and onshore sections of routes:
The following works may be carried out during the survey of subsea pipelines and cables, and adjacent onshore route sections:
- Plan-levation survey of onshore areas
- Hydrographic survey (depth measurements)
- Determination of the plano-altitude position of pipelines and cables
- Determination of locations where waterproofing has been disturbed
- Search and survey of all objects located on the bottom of the water area of the crossing.
- Complete engineering-geodetic, engineering-hydrological and engineering-hydrographic surveys
- Calculation of warranty operation period (if necessary initial information is available)
- Comparison of the current condition of the site with the data of previous years, analysis and forecast of changes
The following information will be provided as a result of the underwater crossing survey:
- Plan of the surveyed section (scale 1:500, 1:1000, etc.)
- Longitudinal profiles of the pipelines (cables) with previous survey data (if available).
- Transverse profiles for any number of sections
- Programme of three-dimensional visualisation of the surveyed section
- Programme for comparison and analysis of profiles of different surveys of one object.
Support and technical supervision over the quality of underwater technical works:
These works include support and supervision of any subsea works including real time.
Our team is ready to be present at the sites and promptly provide the following materials:
- Survey of the water area prior to underwater technical works to identify foreign objects on the bottom.
- Plane-altitude survey of shore areas before and during the works with prompt determination of the scope of works performed.
- Hydrographic survey (depth measurements) before and during the works with prompt determination of the scope of works based on the results of consecutive surveys. The results of works in the shortest possible time after the survey can be presented in the form of plans, profiles and a three-dimensional model, which allows to see the changes taking place in all details
- Determination of the plan and height position of pipelines and cables during the work process.
- Installation of precise positioning systems and specialised software on the vessels performing underwater technical works to ensure the most accurate and rational execution of works.
Underwater technical survey of hydraulic structures and artificial water bodies:
These works include underwater technical survey of the condition of the surfaces of hydraulic structures, artificial reservoirs and adjacent areas of unreinforced channels.
The survey is carried out with the use of multibeam echo sounder, side and circular sonars, teleoperated underwater vehicles, diving photo and video equipment, and non-destructive testing devices.
The following information is provided as a result of the underwater crossing survey:
- An accurate and detailed digital model of the bottom topography
- Dimensions and coordinates of all objects on the bottom
- Measurements of bottom areas under overhanging structures or under the hulls of vessels at berth.
- Bathymetric chart of the water area
- Hydroacoustic mosaic of the bottom surface with determination of the type of surface bottom sediments
- Three-dimensional model of the bottom relief with overlapping of different layers of information.
- When carrying out consecutive surveys in one water area, monitor channel processes and determine the amplitude and volume of bottom sediment movement. Perform operational control during underwater engineering works to determine the volume of dredged or backfilled soil
Engineering and hydrological surveys
Our team will carry out a set of measures to study water bodies and adjacent territories in order to determine the possibility or impossibility of construction and repair in the area.

- Hydrological survey (determination of current velocity and discharge profiles)
- Layout and levelling of the morphostructure
- Water and bottom sediment sampling and analysis
- Collection and analysis of hydrological observations for previous periods.
- Determination of maximum and minimum discharges
- Calculation of parameters of runoff characteristics distribution and values of different availability
