The equipment is developed with advanced technologies, that allows to obtain high resolution with high stability and accuracy of measurements in wide range of sound velocity from 1300 to 1900 m/s.


When used within measurement block of the base made with high stability posts of carbonic composite material, it allows to obtain accurate values of sound velocity in the whole range of operation temperatures from -10℃ to 50℃. Temperature and pressure sensors mounted in measurement block provide obtaining information about sound velocity and temperature at various horizons of the required discretion.

The data obtained during the survey are recorded into internal memory of the equipment, and can be downloaded into computer with the cable from the set after works termination. Standard ForSV formats are used to save data.


Operation duration of ForSV – at least 16 hours, embedded Li-Ion accumulator battery is charged with the cable from the set.


Protection frame that is a forced element fixed to the rope for ForSV handling, is
also used to protect the equipment body from mechanic defects during works execution by one operator.
