IS DESIGNED TO PERFORM:
- Hydrographic surveys;
- Hydrological surveys;
- Search works;
- Survey of the bottom of water areas and hydraulic structures.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
Performance of hydrographic, hydrological surveys, search works, underwater object survey on ordinary objects in complicated conditions:
- where it is difficult to launch an ordinary watercraft (boat, motorboat) due to swampy, silted banks with dense vegetation;
- in areas of critical shallow water with depths up to 0.5 metres;
- in areas with steep embankment walls;
- at objects where it is unsafe for people to stay in the water area - cooling ponds, sludge storage ponds and other water bodies with non-standard filling.
Structurally, ForSurvey is a catamaran with propulsors and replaceable batteries installed in the floats. The hull parameters provide stable movement of the boat not only on smooth water, but also in the presence of waves up to 3 points. At the same time hydrographic surveying is carried out at a swell of not more than 2 points.
The design and arrangement of the propulsors equipped with removable protective grids provide protection from foreign debris getting into the hydrodynamic channel. In addition, the propulsion system is fully protected from damage in case of grounding.
The recommended speed of hydrographic survey is up to 5 km/h, which is ensured by the special hydrodynamic shape of the echo sounder sensor and HFO.
The size of the boat is 900x1200x850 mm (with antennas installed). With the antennas removed the boat has a size of 900x1200x500 mm and easily fits in the boot of the crossover.
In addition, the hull layout allows to install for transport 2 ForSurveys, one above the other, and thus the whole set fits in the boot of an off-road car.
The weight of ForSurvey with a set of batteries, echo sounder and sonar is 32kg.
Operating time of the ForSurvey from regular batteries is not less than 8 hours. Each battery, having a sealed case and equipped with a cable with a hermetic connector, is placed in a compartment in the float body. The battery replacement process takes no more than two minutes. The unit comes with 4 batteries - 2 main batteries and 2 replacement batteries, which allows for at least 16 hours of operation without recharging. In addition, a significant advantage of ForWorks, unlike foreign analogues presented in the domestic market, is that the replacement of batteries does not require opening the main compartment with electronic equipment, which significantly increases the reliability of the product during operation.
The hermetically sealed case with electronic equipment is mounted on a rigid frame. All antennas and electronic units of external devices are connected using hermetic connectors. When operating the complex, the operator is not required to open the sealed enclosure during any operations.
Antennas of the control and data transmission system use the WiFi channel. Data transmission range is at least 2 km, control range is at least 3 km (optional up to 5 km). The complex can operate both in the manual operator control mode and under autopilot control. In both modes, all received information is transmitted to the operator's workplace. "Raw" data from all the equipment is stored on a hard disc "on board" the boat and cannot be lost in case of any interruptions in the communication channel.
Moreover, when leaving the communication zone and then returning to the zone of availability, all the information accumulated during the time of no communication is transferred to the operator's workstation. Thus, the operator can see where and what data was captured during the loss of communication.
